I was laying down in the clearing, my fur shining in the morning sun. I licked my sabers a bit, still slightly greased from the last hunt. I slowly padded to the water to get a drink.

Woodland Clearing
A beautiful clearing in the woods. In the morning, sunlight peers through the trees, making the ground look wonderful. There is a creek, whick if followed either way, spreads into a lake. There are macrauchenia to hunt nearby, but always keep on the lookout of phorusrhacos and megatherium.

Re: Woodland Clearing
I padded into the clearing, yawning. I was traveling through the forest for most of the day and needed a rest. I looked over at the other Saber, but shrugged him off and layed in a small patch of sunlight, thinking to myself, 'Least I can have some rest..

Re: Woodland Clearing
My head down at the water, I glanced at the other saber tooth, but didn't really care.
NRR: Macrauchenia: 6 feet tall, quadropedal, erbivorious, sabertooth snacks.
Phorusrhacos: 10 feet tall, bipedal, carnivorous, terror bird that's scared of cats.
Megatherium: 10 feet tall, bipedal/quadropedal, omnivoriois, monster sloth with an attitude. More than a match for an adult saber.
Mammuthus: 12 feet tall, quadropedal, herbivorious, furry elephant.
Coelodonta: 5 feet tall, herbivorious, furry rhino.
Megalodon: 50 feet long, swim-pedal, carnivorous, gigantic shark.
Doedicurus: 15 feet long, herbivorous, quadropedal, mega-armadillo with spiky tail. Warning: may be dangerous.
Smilodon(you!): 3 feet tall, 7 feet long, carnivorous, quadropedal, giant kitty with a pairof 7-9 inch long choppers.
That's some of the animals you will face.
I spotted a fish in the water, reminding me I was hungry. I got ready to snag it, and when I tried, I flipped over into the water. Needless to say, I missed. I shook myself, then got out. "Stupid fish... I'll get him next time... Stupid fish..." I repeated.

Re: Woodland Clearing
I looked over at the Smilodon and got up, walked over to the banks, and snagged a shiny, big one. Yeah, I was good at hunting, since I lived near the oceans most of my life. "Here," I said, nudging it over to him, "I've had enough to eat for the day, anyhow."

I looked at her, then gladly took it. "Thanks." I said, stuffing it into my mouth.

Re: Woodland Clearing
A Macrauchenia came into the clearing while i was right behind it. With one jump, i landed on its back and brought it crashing to the ground. Looking up after i killed it, i noticed two other Sabers. I gave a grunt of aknoledgement before returning to the dead Macrauchenia.

Re: Woodland Clearing
I bowed my head quickly and sat near the borderline between the clearing and the wood thicket. I just looked up at the sky, pondering over life.

NRR: Imma guess... Nightkill is Gav.
I glanced at the other sabertooth. A pair of phorusrhacos came into view, getting ready to scare the saber with the macraucehnia. I leapt at them, full stride. They ran away, screedching and cawing. "Man, I love doing that!"

Re: Woodland Clearing
"Not to cubs..." I said.
NRR: Flashback tiiiime!
"When I was young, I was being chased by those things once. It looked like the end, that is until my father showed up. He taught them a thing or two." I sighed. I motioned with my head to my right side. "And I've got the scar to prove it."

The best stepped into view, revealing a Megatherium. "Take my advice and stay away from that thing." I advised Night. "By the way what's everyone's names, while a deadly sloth is about to kill us?"

"Sorry, that was just my sister's name." The megatherium lingered ever-closer. "That can kill you quite easily!" I warned.

"I've been through worse.. ever heard of a megolodon?" I narrowly dodged it from swiping at me with it's giant claws. I snarled and leaped onto it's back, tryingevery way t dig into it's flesh. Obviously it tried to fight back.

Re: Woodland Clearing
Her sabers are going to break.
I thought.
"I have, and hope I never have the pleasure to meet one!" I said, standing on my hind legs, reaching almost to its head. I constantly sent a flurry of claw swipes at it.
